Blendimation 2.0

Share, learn, train... Showcase... All in 1... this is Blendimation 2.0

I learned a lot of things today!!! How to use composite and material nodes, and how to animate textures! So here is a quickie render for fun. I don't expect comments but I just wanted to let the community to know how I'm progressing and how I can help them should they need it! This is just a quickie for fun!

What technique did you use for that???

I can remember something about animated textures, but I don't remember it being like that!!!

I messed up with the planets animation in the next one so no post till tommorow when I have time to check... Sorry!

By the way I got about how to make the atmosphere like that from a tutorial but I didn't understand it at the time. So I tried it this time and after fiddling with what I thought were the key buttons I got the desired results... I'll just post a picture on second thought for now.

Lol, nah - it took me like 15 minutes to make minues the rendering. I'm putting on a cooler one - because I finally figured out how to make a better atmosphere. you take the object that you had as the world and make a duplicate and then scale it so it a little larger then the first, then you make that one transparent. I also worked a little more with the lighting so that looks better. The one above is more of a joke - after I post the next one I have to go to bed for sure, got to work tommorow...

By the way, found a great tutorial for composite nodes - have yet to browse through it myself for my lack of intrest of learning more right now, but you might be able to use it anyways!

Have fun!

Oh man, let me tell you - learning so much in one day is not good for ones mental state ;). I'm so tired of LEARNING, but the things I can do now that I have, have all greatly increased. I can do so many more things in 1 day and I can see so many more things happening in my future renders with Blender!
