I haven't been bloggin much recently, but this one deserves it... To add to my repetoire...
Hipposuchus:
The new idea is Hipposuchus (water croc) and it's going to be the production of an idea I've had for years. At 15 meters, it would resemble a gharial, while dwarfing even salties, in real life... It's going to look more or less agile, being built for speed more than strength, and finally, it will make us of Sculpt mode and any other kule tricks I can find

Yes! It works! Or does it???
Two renders, 300 frames, and nothing. Why?
FFMpeg. A bit tricky already, but it seems to only like mp4 on my system...
Apparently this is the reason why my video turned out black...

I have started planning for an animation project. It will eventually become a compilation of comedy, which I will show at one of my Church's fun nights, but it will be all blender : render.
The main characters will range from cubes, to complex humanoids, and the main theme will be a mars alliance setting...
I'll explian mars alliance in future as the project progresses.

I have posted simple rules in the forum.
I will post some rules for administrators/moderators in the admin group. These rules are subject to change, and I will usually make it known when I do that.
Admin, if you have any ideas/suggestions/critizisms/food/pets/money/!!!...
Okay. A little too far! :)
...Post them in the admin forum or a PM.

When adding wind and such features to blender, one occasionally wants more control. What's my wish? That in 2.5 (or even my predicted 2.45!), we could set key frame values for wind strength, and determine whether the transistion is smooth, or linear (sudden).
Or we could make a custom build for this purpose. But that's justa thought.

I was going to write the waving flag tutorial today, but that will take me a little longer.
So I will post the Kule blend file.

In addition to starting and maintaining several sites on this platform, I am now writing a book, and an IM application. Yet in all of this, I will be adding two Blendorials to the forum (blender tutorials)...
One is about lighting (Basics), while the other is about using blender's softbody simulation capabilities to create a simple waving flag...

Yeah, for all those who were concerned, my mental servers are back up!
Feeling much stronger, despite a quick down time this morning (physical), so I should be moving faster on my networks/sites now...

I tried SSS!
I survived, but it took about two years for my blender craft to navigate the vast expanse of SSSpace..

Blender 2.44 adds two features I really needed...
FFmpeg, and SSS...
Soon I'll be making movies and still renders to test it.
Will I survive?
Find out in the next episode of "Some silly blog post!"

I will edit this later when I have more time...
I have a new idea for blender development. Since blender is open source, users around the world can modify it. However, that means disjointed stuff...
Here's my plan. Get developers who are skilled in particular areas to work on projects centered around blender development, but not as part of the official timeline for blender, and later subit them to Ton for integration. For example, we could give blender sound recording capabiliti
