Blendimation 2.0

Share, learn, train... Showcase... All in 1... this is Blendimation 2.0

When I render with Radiosity on, a frame counter keeps on going infinite (it seems).

What is going on?
A- Is it something about flipping normals, vertices's or faces? Becouse I realy was hoping to get rid of 'faces' showing on surfaces. I mean I don't want to see triangles or quads on my models.
B- Should I subsurf (just came up while writing. will check it right when after posting!)
C- Has it something to with UV, Tex or Materials?

See the gun in the uploaded pics... what to do to get the surface right like in that second render?

Links to videotutorials with narator are more than welcome.

I don't generally use radiosity, but hey, haven't tried it in over a year!
I'll see if it happens to me the next time I render :-)

As for seeing faces, you need to turn on smooth rendering, but I'll have to fetch you a screenshot (shouldn't take too long :-)
